Breakfast is its own restaurant category in the United States. Diners serve eggs, pancakes, hash browns and bottomless coffee from early morning, sometimes around the clock; breakfast and brunch restaurants open around 7 and close in the early afternoon; delis and sandwich shops sell egg sandwiches and bagels to go and switch to lunch by 11. Weekend brunch, roughly 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is the busiest shift of the week, and well-known spots run waits of 30 to 60 minutes; many now take reservations or a waitlist through an app. Expect large portions, free refills on drip coffee and a tip of 15 to 20 percent for table service. Creperies, waffle houses and bistros round out the group with sweeter or European-style menus.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 am–2 pm. Austin is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Austin peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I love this place. I found it while I was doing some regular medical treatments and it always hit the spot. The bagel breakfast sandwiches are perfect. Today I stopped in for the first time in a while. I had the green grilled cheese and it was just what I needed, along with an iced latte. I'm always comfortable coming in and sitting to eat alone. The staff clearly enjoys what they do and are very welcoming. I always like the music, too.

We were about to leave Austin and saw this small cafe on our way out. Honestly I was not expecting anything special since we had a very limited time and was looking for a quick bite before our 7 hours drive. What a pleasant surprise was that. I was not expecting to find this gem that will make me review but here we are. First of all everyone from cashier to cooks were amazingly friendly and helpful. You can tell they are happy to be there. We ended up ordering bunch of bagels from menu and 2 huge waffles with strawberries and bananas. My latte was really great too. I highly recommend this locally owned cute cafè if you are around Austin.

*Update: 3/5 star. They must've seen this review and promptly refunded my order. The swift response is appreciated and I will give them a second shot when in the area. Original: 1/5 star. Idk if they just ran out of everything at the end of the day but I literally got the equivalent of 2 crushed chips, a quarter of a small avocado, and 2 massive fried eggs on a bed of spinach. Expectation vs reality on this one is wildly different. Didn't see until after I'd left :(

Great food, good coffee, good service and on top of all the delicious food, great atmosphere and all they have, very affordable prices. And I say that because of the quality of the really fresh ingredients! The bagel was northeast quality Bagels which has been really hard to find in Texas. So happy to have found this great place!

The Berry Tyler Moore waffle was awesome and was just the right amount of food my wife said. I tried the Shakerato and it was good, reminded me of a brown sugar shaken espresso. Would definitely like to come back and continue trying different items. The sandwiches look really good here.
